prijanIf anyone knows how to get ahold of information on marrying in an English (not Scottish) castle, please let me know. Of course, cost is of the essence! Prefer a castle with a chapel, if possible. I'm interested in hearing of others' weddings in castles. How is it that we have castles in New Jersey??
CastleguyYou could call Britrail's British Travel shop @ (212) 490-6688 and order "Dream Sleeps". The book contains listings of palace and castle hotels in England as well as Europe. The book costs 17.95 and the item # is 927. This will get you the places you could hire out. You then could and call one or two to get an idea of cost. Hope this helps
prijanThanks, Castleguy, I'll check into that.
knoot7There is a castle in Upstate New York...Little Falls that has accomadations and catering capabilities for weddings...although it is said to be haunted
altyfcHello Prijan,

May I suggest that you take a look at a Web site we are in the process of creating for Greystoke Castle who cater for weddings in the English Lake District.

The site is currently at the temporary address of http://www.dedicate.co.uk/greystoke but will be moving to http://www.greystoke.com in the near future.

I hope this is what you are looking for. If you pursue this further, please let them know that Paul from The Dedicated Partnership sent you! ;-)

Regards,

Paul
